Chocolate Surprise Pie

2 dark chocolate crumb crusts...purchase or make from oreo cookies and butter

or graham cracker crusts

1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (room temperature)

1 tablespoon sugar

1 (6 serving size) instant chocolate pudding mix

2 cups milk

1 12 oz. carton Cool Whip

Mix cream cheese, sugar and 2 tablespoons of cool whip. Spread evenly in bottom of both crusts.

Use same mixing bowl and mix pudding with milk. Add Cool Whip...save enough to frost tops of pies.

Pile this on in equal amounts between both pies. Spread evenly and frost with Cool Whip. Decorate tops with chocolate curls, chocolate sprinkles or chocolate cookie crumbs. Chill.

Can be made day before.
try looking for a german stollen recipe, they are not too hard and really good. they are typical for christmas time there

good luck!
My creations:

Mango with a spoon of vanila ice cream and mint in a martini glass.... you put the ice cream at the bottom of glass then a bit of mango and a sprig of mint on top and on the rim. Its delicious.

or

Crepe' with fruit...

you make warm crepe's (mix half a cup of flour, milk per person and one egg per person.) Mix eggs and milk till yellowish then mix flour slowly in till no flour showing and then put in fridge till done prepairing fruit. bring out powder sugar and keep it close... Make crepe's not with olive oil or grapeseed oil but ( I can't remember name but its thin and is in a plastic container.. its at Trader Joes) and use one and a half ladels of batter in pan with low flame but just enough to brown the crepe' then after turning to other side mix fruit and powder sugar and turn one side so it closes and put on warm plate from warm tempature oven.

i know just the thing. but there is a catch.

it is called ';stucko';. one of my friends and his dad made it and it was delicious. only thing is that they made it from scratch and do not remember how to make it. =)

but i asked them to try again and make it and they said they would. i guess this really does not help but it has a moral to always write down recipes. =)
if you like cheesecake then you should try a new york style with pumpkin swirl i use gingersnaps (crushed) for the crust it is very rich and great with a good coffee.
We had a carry in the other day at work and someone brought in a dip and apples. The dip is easy to make and was really good

1 container of caramel (the kind in the produce section - tz maretti's or something like that)

mix these thoroughly and form a ball

Intresting ideas...

what about (a pie)ginger bread crust, then the first layer is plain cheese cake, or pumkin cheese cake, then the next layer is traditional pumkin pie, bake till both are done, then either leave it like that or top with maybe pumkin spiced, or regular spiced(or not spiced at all) meringue covering the whole thing(like the banana cream pie look) (bake until set)then dust (before baking)with nutmeg or cinnamon or something, yummm, think about it, it's really easy, it's not hard to make a ginger bread crust, it's just like a graham craker crust, you can by ready to make cheese cake, and you can buy canned pumkin pie, and if you've never made meringe, it's easy don't worry, it's just like making whipped cream
A ';new dessert'; recipe is just that--new! A dessert never before served. You will have to come up with something only you have concocted.
my mom made and oreo icecream pie one year
Try this.....
