What's your favorite recipe for Thanksgiving?

I usually have pumpkin pie, turkey of course! and stuffing and my grandmother puts it in the turkey and cooks it together, we also have apple sause that is homemade. I hope this helps!What's your favorite recipe for Thanksgiving?
This is so easy but is always requested...it's a custard like casserole that is always a hit.





Baked Corn Casserole





1 ( 8 0z) pkg Jiffy corn bread mix





1 can ( 15 3/4 oz) whole kernal corn, drained





1 can ( 14 3/4 oz) cream corn





2 eggs, beaten





1 pint sour cream





1- tsp. sugar





1/2 stick butter, softened








Preheat oven to 350. Lightly coat a 13 X 9 casserole with butter


Mix all ingredients well. Pour into pan. Dust with paprika.





Cook uncovered for 60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes to set. .What's your favorite recipe for Thanksgiving?
THANKSGIVING RUM PUNCH





1/2 c. lemon juice


1/4 c. sugar


1 c. cranberry juice


1 c. orange juice


1 c. strong tea


1 fifth Puerto Rican rum


12 cloves





Combine all ingredients and add ice cubes and lemon slices. Serves 15.








THANKSGIVING POTATOES





9 lg. baking potatoes, peeled and diced


1/2 c. (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature


12 oz. cream cheese, room temperature


3/4 c. sour cream


1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg


Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste





Place the diced potatoes in a large saucepan and add water to cover. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat and simmer over medium heat until tender; drain. Place the potatoes in a mixer bowl. Cut the butter and cream cheese into small pieces and add to the potatoes. Beat with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Beat in the sour cream. Season with the nutmeg, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve immediately or reheat in a buttered casserole at 300 degrees for 20 minutes. Yields 8 portions.
Sweet Potato Souffle





4 cups mashed sweet potatoes


1 cup sugar


2 eggs


1/2 cup milk


1/2 tsp. salt


1/3 stick butter or margarine (melted)


1 tsp. vanilla





Mix well


Pour into buttered pan











Topping: 1 cup brown sugar


1/2 cup flour


1/3 cup butter or margarine (melted)


1 cup pecans





Crumble topping evenly over potato mixture. Bake at 350掳 for 35-45 minutes uncovered.

If you want to make it, you have to get some frozen yeast dough, thaw it, cut it up into little pieces, dip them in butter, put them in a bunt cake dish, let it rise for a few hours, then pop it in the oven. MMMMM yummy so addictive
